One of the problems, I have with Dead Alive is the fact that the zombies are way more decomposed. The standard Romero zombie looks like any old Joe you might pass on the street, except covered in more blood. Which is why they’re both terrifying and a great metaphor for our braindead, consumer culture.
But in Dead Alive zombies look like skeletons with eyeballs. And that is a whole new level of scary. Fucking skeletons with eyeballs.
